Hey. I've participated in Portuguese Wikipedia for a a few years now. My work in articles is usually small error fixes and content addition, but sometimes I undertake a article creation from scratch or a full translation. I also work a bit with scripts and have an inactive bot account over at ptwiki. Since graduating college majoring in International Relations I've changed career paths and work today mostly with development and IT services with a small company in my city.
I live in São Luís - Maranhão - Brazil, it is a great city with a historical city centre and very large sandy beaches.
"I enjoy getting to know the people involved in our projects, the challenges we've faced, and why we are motivated to contribute. Feel free to reach out to me anytime you like." (stolen from Chris "Jethro")
My role as Cloud Services Technical Support, with an initial contract of approximately three months at up to 20 hours per week and will, help the Wikimedia movement's volunteer developers to rapidly clarify and resolve their technical questions and issues. I hang around IRC and will make a point of reading
#wikimedia-cloud daily and monitor several channels were users generally ask for help.
